T.W.O. is the first resort of its kind, opened in 1982 for the pure pleasure of touring motorcyclists. While many campgrounds frown on (and ban) all types of two wheeled vehicles, we at T.W.O. have made it our business to make you feel at home during your stay with us. In fact, as our name indicates, we restrict guests to only those who are riding or towing motorcycles.

For reasons of geography (mountains) and the fact that Suches is off the beaten path, T.W.O. remains one of Georgia’s best kept secrets - which is just fine for the thousands of motorcyclists from across the country who have discovered T.W.O.

The area has superb mountain roads to challenge your skills . . . they climb and descend with great curves and fantastic senery. The number one attraction is the fabulous motorcycling roads and surrounding beauty. T.W.O. is nestled in the Heart of the Chattahoochee National Forest, so you’ll find very little commercialism in the way of billboards and the like. For those who ride dual-sports, there are hundreds of miles of Forest Service roads in the National Forest, some starting within a few minutes ride of the lodge. (street legal bikes w/tags / spark arrestors REQUIRED! Stock mufflers suggested.)

Depending on your interests, there is an assortment of activities, all within an easy ride of T.W.O. If you’re into hiking, the Appalachian Trail is only 2 miles away. T.W.O. is on the route of the "Dodge Tour d Georgia", an annual, world-class, professional cycling stage race, which feature competitors such as Lance Armstrong. Dahlonega, 16 miles south, is the site of the nation’s first major gold rush in 1828. Dahlonega offers a gold museum and gold mine where you may hone your gold panning skills, and is now the locale of several world class wineries that offer tours and tastings. The alpine village of Helen is 37 miles to the east. White water rafting, river tubing, horseback riding, rock climbing, canoeing, and canyon exploring are all within a short riding distance. The Cherohala Skyway and Deals Gap "Tail of the Dragon" are within an easy days ride. Local area maps and information is provided to our guests.

In the “Lodge” there are 4 bedrooms. The bedrooms are complete with bed linens and towels/wash cloths and soap. The upstairs of the Lodge is set up like a family home.

• Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. Room #1 has 1 queen size bed and 1 single size bed. Room #2 has 2 queen size beds and 2 single size beds. Room #3 has 1 queen size bed and 2 single beds. There is a large shared living room with satellite TV & V.C.R., a kitchen with refrigerator and microwave (no stove). Bedrooms do not have private baths, there is a shared bathroom for the 3 bedrooms. The 4th bedroom is downstairs, Room #4, has 3 single beds, guests in Room#4 use the campground bath house facilities for showers.

T.W.O. also has a fully furnished mobile home for rent.

• The mobilehome has 2 bedrooms, one with 1 queen bed and one with 1 full bed, 1 bath and 2 hideabeds and one single day bed in the living room. The mobile home is complete with satillite TV and VCR, kitchen and all bed linens, towels/wash cloths and soap. It also has a deck w/ BBQ to relax on after a great ride.

For those who like to camp, T.W.O. has large un-numbered campsites with fire pits, tables, clean bath house with hot showers.
